Different people read best with different settings. Watch a bandit learn which ones work for each reader.

Simulated readers. This demo has not been tested with real readers, and nothing here claims to help anyone learn. The full experiment, its assumptions and results are on GitHub.

1. Pick a reader

What the app can see about them. Each reader also has hidden personal quirks.

2. Run 60 reading sessions

Each session, every strategy picks settings and the reader passes or fails a comprehension check.

Settings picked by "Thompson + similar readers" for the latest session.

Regret: how much worse than this reader's best settings

Lower is better. A flat line means the strategy keeps choosing well.
